Massage is a way to reeducate muscles, relax the body out of chronic pain and release postures of stress whether brought on by emotions, thoughts or physical repetition. By observing and listening to your body, I work as deep or as lightly as needed, staying on intense areas of tension until contracted muscles melt. Intuitive, slow and powerful strokes allow your body to soften, move and breathe. My goal is to not only release tight muscles and bring about relaxation, but bring more awareness to those areas and help you move towards tension free living.
I draw on my experiences working with Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, Yoga Practitioners and athletes of all kinds. My work is heavily influenced by Swedish and Deep tissue techniques. Specific areas of study include Myofascial, Craniosacral, Deep neck work and Prenatal certification.
